Charming spot with comfy vibes
Just spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly, which made us feel right at home. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the bed was comfy. We loved the bar area too—it had a nice cozy feel, perfect for unwinding. Only thing is, could've used a bit more choice on the menu.

I had a two-night stay in a double room with a private bathroom, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was delicious! The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and I enjoyed unwinding in the cozy lounge. The only hiccup was that there was no toilet roll when I checked in, which was a bit odd, but it didn't ruin my experience. 😊

We had an awesome stay for one night, soaking in the beautiful countryside and local hikes. The food was great, especially the Sunday roast. it was served hot and homemade, with Yorkshire puddings that were massive!
Felt special, no complaints at all.

would definitely go again
The cozy double room had a private bathroom with a hot shower. Amenities included tea/coffee maker, TV, and hairdryer. The pub served good food and even provided a brunch bag with croissants and fruit since breakfast was only on weekends. Great location and helpful staff made the stay even better.

Lovely children's playground outside, perfect for families. Staff seemed overwhelmed during peak hours, which slowed service down.

We had a fantastic time as a group of friends! We enjoyed exploring the nearby Blacknest Golf and Country Club. The staff were super friendly, and the food was spot on. Just a heads up, make sure to check for the room amenities before you go.
One downside was that there was no soap at the handbasin in our room, which was a bit inconvenient.

missingWrote a review on Jun 17comfortable bedhot showerideal locationlimited menulack of service
The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, and the shower was hot. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the village shop for a cooked breakfast. the lack of service during our two-night stay was quite disappointing, as tea and coffee supplies were not replenished and the menu items were limited. it had potential but required better attention to detail.
